Session One - June 25: What Drives Profit and Why— Al Bates will share an overview of the typical firm and highlight where effort is most needed. Key topics include: 1) where to focus on in improving profit and 2) how much of an improvement is necessary in each area. Hint: not as much as you think.
Session Two - July 30: Not Just Sales, Profitable Sales— Learn how firms sometime generate lots of revenue that results in little/no profit. This second session will focus on the sales force, but demonstrate how there are implications for everybody in the firm.
Key topics include 1) how sales really impacts profit in the short and long run and 2) how to generate sales in a manner that doesn't dramatically increase operating expenses.
Session Three - August 27: Pricing for Profit—Everybody knows that pricing is the key to profitability in every distribution firm. Management knows that. You know that. Key topics include 1) whether or not the firm can make it up with volume if it cuts prices and 2) how to respond when suppliers cut price in the short run and raise prices in the long run.
Session Four - September 24: Creating the Future—This final webinar will inspire you as to why your firm can’t just sit back and respond to changes – YOU must DRIVE the change. Al Bates will examine what firms have to do increase profit going forward. Find out what the small changes are that every firm can make to achieve fundamental improvements.
Key topics include 1) making the firms sales, margin and expense structure match its market position and 2) improving the firm's performance item by item.
