FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE TOP GUN SURVIVAL SCHOOL FOR DISTRIBUTOR SALESPEOPLE
Distributor salespeople need a dose of inspiration, motivation and education, according to Dave Kahle, President of The DaCo Corporation.
"Distributors are more and more concerned about new challenges being thrown at them," Kahle explained. "The marketplace is changing dramatically due to increasing competition, the rise of E-commerce, expansion of alternate channels and new pressures from suppliers. This means customers have less time to spend with salespeople. Distributor salespeople have more pressure on them today than at any time in the past."
To combat these changes, Dave Kahle has designed a one-day seminar, targeted specifically at equipping distributor salespeople to succeed in the 21st Century environment. The Top Gun seminars, which were first presented in 2002, have grown in number and attendance annually. This year, the seminars will be presented in 14 sites around the country.
The 2007 Sponsors include:
• American Supply Association (ASA)
• Association for High Technology Distributors (AHTD)
• Copper and Brass Servicenter Association (CBSA)
• Independent Distributors Network (IDN)
• Industrial Supply Association (ISA)
• National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD)
• National Fastener Distributors Association (NFDA)
• North American Association of Floor Covering Distributors (NAFCD)
• North American Building Material Distribution Association (NBMDA)
• Outdoor Power Equipment and Engine Service Association (OPEESA)
• Pet Industry Distributors Association (PIDA)
• Western Association of Fastener Distributors (WAFD)
• Wholesale Independent National Distributors Organization (WINDO)
According to Dave Kahle, the content in the Top Gun seminars clearly reflects the aggressive nature of the changes involved in the industry, and the proactive skills needed to counter them successfully. "We will be moving beyond theory here, and getting into some very specific tactics for survival and victory," Kahle said.
The one-day schools will be held in Chicago, IL on September 17th; Minneapolis, MN on September 29th; Toronto, Canada on September 24th; Detroit, MI on September 26th, Hartford, CT on October 3rd, Newark, NJ on October 5th, Philadelphia, PA on October 8th, Portland, OR on October 22nd, Oakland, CA on October 24th, Los Angeles, CA on October 26th, Houston, TX on November 7th, Cincinnati, OH on November 9th, Charlotte, NC on November 12th and Tampa, FL on November 19th.
The sponsor discounted cost is only $209. The regular cost is $269. An additional feature of the day will be an exclusive strategic luncheon with Dave for management only. Seating is limited.
