Pre-Paid Meeting Promo Code--What is it?
Each member company has prepaid one (1) conference registration at the beginning of the year with the renewal of its membership dues. Once paid, the member company receives a promo code that can be used for one (1) person to attend one (1) conference in that calendar year. There are no refunds. Who would want one? You have joined the best association for networking in the industrial automation industry. Show up!

COVID TWIST: Fully recognizing that every individual’s situation is in flux—between hits to our industry, company travel freezes, comfort with safety, etc.—AHTD’s goal is to make it easier for you to attend FM2020. If you are not able to attend in person we are offering the live-stream of the general sessions. We are thrilled to offer this virtual option. This way anyone from a member company may also participate, spreading the joy of AHTD attendance to more of the AHTD family!
 
I only have one promo code--can only one person attend?
Want more than one person to attend? Want to attend more than one conference? You bet! The more the merrier. We just wanted you to know the code can only be used by one (1) person for one (1) conference in the calendar year. After your company has used the promo code, any additional people planning on attending the conference will pay the full conference registration rate.
COVID TWIST: If you want to register additional team members: please do! If you find that you need to cancel, you can do so with the assurance you will receive a full refund of the AHTD conference registration fees if you cancel in writing by September 30, 2020. 
 
I don’t have an AHTD member login! Help! 
Email Leigha Schatzman for your very own login. We only need your email address to set you up. Once you’re with the hip kids, you’ll receive all the goodies: members-only access to the directory, monthly e-newsletter, notifications of webinars, and secret decoder rings to identify you to other AHTD members...the coolest cats in the automation. 
 
What are the Refund/Cancellation/Substitution Policies?
Substitution Policy: Up until the first day of the conference, AHTD members can substitute any attendees from among employees within their member companies. Contact Leigha Schatzman.
Cancellation Policy:  Cancellations must be received by September 30, 2020, in order to receive a refund and will only be accepted in writing. Please send written cancellations to Leigha Schatzman.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used, no later than (30) days after cancellation has been approved. No-shows (non-attendees without written notice) for the event or hotel will not receive a refund.
 
What is the Event Cancellation Policy?
AHTD reserves the right to cancel Fall Meeting 2020 due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If AHTD cancels the event, registrants will be offered a full refund for paid registrations. Pre-paid promo codes will be used for any virtual conference content in substitution for the in-person conference. AHTD will not be responsible for reimbursement of any participant’s expenses related to the cancellation or postponement of an event.
 
COVID-19 Statement
AHTD continues to be diligent in ensuring the safety and security of our attendees, staff, and operational personnel. As we move ahead with planning and implementing the high-quality education, tools, and networking you are used to experiencing from AHTD, the association will continue to place high importance on facilitating measures that will ensure optimal health and sanitary conditions for everyone onsite during Fall Meeting 2020 at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City.
 
The association is monitoring recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are in communication with Salt Lake City’s convention and visitor’s bureau and the Grand America Hotel to understand what we need to prepare for in order to be compliant with local regulations.

A Shared Responsibility
Responding effectively to COVID-19 is a shared responsibility. AHTD attendees and guests have a responsibility to adopt new travel practices and follow science-based guidelines to help protect the health of their family and those around them, including fellow travelers and AHTD attendees. In the spirit of the collective action needed to defeat COVID-19, we urge everyone to do their part and follow government guidance and common sense to help protect themselves and others.
 
Expect to see changes at Fall Meeting 2020 as AHTD tries its honest best to provide a safe environment for attendees. Things will look and feel different from conferences in the past. We’ll take direction from the public health officials in Salt Lake City. Requests and requirements will change in the months and days leading up to the conference. Rules might be different in Utah than what they are from your state/province. Expect to see hand sanitizing stations (and an insane amount of reminders to use them), requests for social distancing, meeting rooms set up differently, food/beverage changes (sigh, no more self-serve coffee), and many more areas-- all re-engineered to make our time together as safe as we can.
