AHTD and the Registered Guest Program Group are partnering with
Dress for Success in San Antonio!
This global, not-for-profit organization helps people thrive in work and life by providing a network of support, professional attire, and development tools that empower people to reach their full potential and achieve economic independence. In addition to improving the quality of life for donation recipients, increasing the range of available employment options also helps families, communities, and society at large.
What can you do?? Consider donating to the cause!
Please bring any gently used professional clothing and brand-new toiletries to the AHTD registration desk in San Antonio, and the Registered Guest Group will do the rest!
What sort of items will be accepted?
Preferred donation items are those appropriate for a job interview, including:
New, Unused
- Toiletries
- Travel packs containing deodorant, toothpaste/toothbrushes, shampoo, etc.
- Hygiene products
- New, packaged underwear
- Packaged makeup
- Gift cards
Gently Used
- women’s and men’s clothing, laundered or dry-cleaned
- shoes
- belts
- ties
- handbags for women
- jewelry
So, when packing that suitcase for San Antonio, help someone feel their best while job searching and in the first few weeks of employment by using that extra space in your suitcase to ease the way for those less fortunate to rejoin the workforce.
