AHTD’s membership roster includes 300 distributors (aka Automation Solutions Providers or ASPs) and manufacturers of industrial automation products. The association provides the opportunity to talk with other ASP distributors and manufacturers about operations, personnel trends, and more.
Spring and Fall Meetings
More than 300 ASP distributors and manufacturers attend both of our twice-yearly meetings, which feature sessions by business and industry experts, pertinent educational information, the Product Showcase, and opportunities for networking with the leaders in automation.
Industry Statistics
The AHTD Financial Benchmarking Report provides detailed financial data from the summary of information gleaned from a survey of our high-technology member ASP distributor firms. Trends cover the past three years. The information provides straightforward guidelines for analyzing profitability in a customizable report output delivered in an Excel dashboard. The report is free to participating ASP distributors and is available for a fee to other member companies.
Newsletters
AHTD’s electronic newsletter is published once a month, hosted on our website, and emailed to members with a login. The publication includes industry happenings, business management techniques, association updates, and more. Each member company may submit one information feature per month. Additionally, we post up-to-the-minute information on our website that can be accessed by RSS feed.

AHTD hosts an online directory listing member companies, branch locations, phone numbers, e-mail and website addresses, company personnel and product lines represented.
Educational Opportunities
Through its affiliation with the Association Education Alliance, AHTD offers educational teleconferences and seminars for all interested members. AHTD’s projects are generated by volunteer committees. Members identify needs within the industry and create solutions.
AHTD Women in Automation
The AHTD WIA group meets remotely every quarter, exchanging ideas and discussing the specific challenges experienced by women employed in industrial automation.
