Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via membership application, profile updates, or other direct contact from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone outside of AHTD membership or programs.

We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. In addition, AHTD will use a third party marketing tool (e.g. Constant Contact) as the primary communication channel between the association and members. In using the Constant Contact tool, we will upload each member’s first name, last name, organization name, and email. This information is shared only to populate the data file in order to send out emails.

Unless you have personally unsubscribed to the Constant Contact email, we may continue to contact you via Constant Contact in the future to tell you about association updates, event registration, membership renewals, profit survey updates, and similar association news, or changes to this privacy policy.

You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

Security
We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit credit card information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to the third party credit card processing service in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of the web page.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

AHTD’s website is mobile responsive, which means the same secure code that is executed on a desktop is also used on mobile devices.

AHTD Data
The entire AHTD site is secure using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). The data is stored at Tierpoint, a U.S. based SSAE 16 SOC audited facility on the East Coast that is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Data remains in the association database for the duration of the contract between Naylor and AHTD. Naylor is AHTD's association management software platform. Under the Services Agreement, all data collected is the property of AHTD.
