2026

Do you see leadership as an achievable goal for YOU?

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?”  - Marianne Williamson

Change and growth aren’t JUST about ambition - they’re about embracing what lies beneath and fulfilling our potential. Let’s move through 2026 with the courage and clarity to take the steps necessary for transforming our lives so that we may all become our best selves! Join your AHTD-WIA as we focus this year’s energy on understanding what it takes to become great leaders.

Playing small does not serve the world.  By taking part in this year’s thought-provoking conversations on inspired leadership, empowerment, and how everyday actions can shape our aptitude, we can all learn how to reach further and make 2026 the year we take our leadership abilities to the NEXT level!

January Discussion

Impact & Influence: How Mentorship Sparks Growth and Inspires Leadership

Thursday, January 22 @ 1 p.m. CST

Ready to maximize the power of mentorship?  In our first meet-up of 2026, we’ll set the stage by discussing how women can access the career advice that moves us from places of influence to positions of power.  We’ll work to reshape perceptions and overcome systemic barriers by focusing on personal growth, networking, and building the strategic, financial, and business acumen needed to be considered for senior leadership.  We will examine the impact of choosing ourselves to lead, discover how to courageously navigate the workplace, and how to better avoid the negative consequences of pursuing positions of power – all to get us to the next level!

Topics Covered

  • Mentoring: Beyond Traditional Advice
  • Qualities of Leadership: Cultivating Courage, Authenticity, and Strategic Vision
  • Career advice: Crafting an Authentic and Commanding Leadership Presence
